【林连玉基金】林连玉基金至诚感谢全国各地团体对公祭活动的支持，截至今天为止已有558个华教团体、社团与个人联名花圈，在公祭礼上向族魂林连玉致敬。

延续以往的华教传统，林连玉基金每年都向全国各地团体征求联名花圈，向族魂表示敬意。今年在林连玉基金各地联委会的协助下，取得了巨大的突破，比去年增加了一倍有余，在风雨华教中彰显群众对林连玉基金无畏无惧的支持。

参与联名花圈的团体包括27个全国性团体如：教总、华总、商联会、永联会、福联会、留台联总、校友联总、全国国民型中学发展工委会等；53间独中、7州董联会、9州大会堂、超过250间华小董事会、还有各地血缘、地缘和业缘性团体。多名华教元老与家属如：前董总主席胡万铎先生、已故林晃升、沈慕羽与张雅山家属皆有参与这次的联名花圈，并将会出席林连玉公祭礼。

今年，所有花圈上将会写上“缅怀族魂、平反林连玉”字眼，希望借此向有关当局表达一个强烈的讯息，促请恢复族魂林连玉的公民权，承认他是伟大的爱国者。

全国十五华团于1987年宣布把林连玉（左图）逝世日定为华教节。华教节是华文教育节的简称，这是以林连玉先生的忌日定为“华教节”，其目的是纪念林连玉先生对华文教育的贡献，也希望藉此宣扬他的多采多姿、共存共荣的主张，并贯彻他的理想；同时赞颂体现林连玉精神的华教工作者或团体，所以它具有"承先启后、继往开来"的意义。

林连玉基金每年都在华教节举办一系列活动，如：林连玉精神奖颁发典礼、林连玉讲座、林连玉墓园公祭等活动，今年更添加了几个元素，其中包括召集大专生前往林连玉墓园进行大扫除与举办语言人权研讨会，深化母语教育工作者的理论基础。

林连玉基金今年将于2010年12月19日（星期日），早上八时正，在吉隆坡福建义山林连玉墓园举行林连玉公祭礼，而今年将组团参与华教节的团体、学校将超过千人，其中包括：30间中学，六间国内大专组织与各地华教团体代表。

was thinking to buy something this morning.. after finnished work and sent a collegue to lrt station, then i was thinking to go to Jalan TAR to buy things..

however,when i was in Jalan Sultan Ismail, all the cars showing an open air car parking in the street, very jam.. then i used alternative,Jalan Perak and then turn Jalan T.H.S.Lee, then i was drive to a place near kotaraya, so, thinking that kotaraya might have things i want, just have a go..

after shop around 2nd floor & 3rd floor, found that the shop in 3rd floor quite okay to visit.. i remembered 5 years ago i been there before.. after testing it and i finally bought it.. Initially wanted to try to argue a good price but then it seems like reasonable price alrdy,so just pay..

*observed: in 20-30minutes, the shop PIC managed to closed a deal of rm89 with a foreign labor,what a good selling skills he have, i praised on him..

it's challenging, tough indeed to survive in urban city where official's policy doesn't help any sense. Due to oil price shocking rise, people tends to change their living style. one thing doesn't change, the trend of price.

is either the increment of price is slow or fast. price or cost on food, living and transport rising had troubled people now. i am also suffering on it.

any suggestions for me to overcome this small crisis? i appreciate most of your comments. thanks =)

price hike effect on food

this sunday was so special for Malaysia Olympic team as Lee Chong Wei through to Final challenging world no.1 Lin Dan. Me and my family went for a dinner in a nearby restaurant.
we didn't having dinner there for a long time. It is a Bak Kut Teh restaurant. Before meal, i went to meet a friend which he works nearby. the feeling was so great to meet back your old friends and all smile in the conversation.

Back to this Bak Kut Teh, really, It was Bad Bad Bad..
the meal was really no standard as they were before. so disappointed about it. the bak kut teh soup taste is much terrible then the tea we drink. The tea even nicer than the soup. maybe due to the oil price side effect, the cost rising, so they sacrifice their quality.
I will never go to that restaurant again and it was expensive too~

morning was a bit rush to went for an interview, a disaster i would describe.. i should have be more more prepared than i had been. a bit disappointed.. it takes few hours to complete the interview session(longest interview i ever been) .. a lot of candidates today came for interview due to the improper schedule of other agencies that put all candidates in friday.

after getting off a disaster interview, i definitely wants to get a fresh air & hope for better one next in a short time later.hope luck will on my side.. Later, a gathering were waiting for me at sg wang..yeah!!
it was happy to get in touch again with "taiwan orange" who major in political studies..
gathering dinner, gathering coffee .. i want more gathering haha...

白小原校校园明年一月重开
雪兰莪州白沙罗华文小学（原校）校园倘若如期在明年一月新学年重新开放使用，希望能有至少150名学生，以免沦为另一所“微型华小”；今后理想中的学生人数则是五百至七百名，以免校园过于拥挤，不利学习。雪兰莪州务大臣卡立依布拉欣将出席本月28日的白小保校运动筹款晚宴。

白小保校工委会订于本月28日主办“华小要增建，白小要重开；正义要检验，诺言要兑现”——白小保校运动八周年筹款晚宴，筹款目标为马币25万元，截至本月10日已筹获马币19万元。陈亚才说，虽然白小原校将在明年一月重开，但是筹款工作仍得持续，所得款项将设立白小教育基金，帮助清贫毕业生到中学甚至大学深造。

许来贤（右图）在会上说，雪兰莪州务大臣卡立依布拉欣（Khalid Ibrahim）以向他证实，将出席本月28日的白小保校运动八周年筹款晚宴。

较早时，白小保校工委会代主席邱俊华说，他希望教育部长希山慕丁能在本月28日正式宣布白小原校校园重新启用的消息。

what's after May

i know definitely is June..
but it's not the way i expected..
way back in April, it's the 'final' final exam period..
i also started to plan a bit what's after exam..
sure i was going for a study tour, was really amazed..
back to the plan, i somehow started job search..
and expecting to start work immediately after graduation, May..

what's happening now was, after back to Malaysia last week
i was suffered from a similar kind of jet lag, -- relax lag
still in the mood of holiday which in a way is good
in fact, i should consider to have both simultaneously..
days after may is full of uncertainties..which is normal..
to beat that, i normally will think of planning ahead..
but i always tend to ignore the planning..
now, i have to..
do some planning ahead for June..
and maybe July as well..

during some time, i observed something for graduates
there are 2 type of graduates in searching jobs
1- Active, Aggressive
they prepared everything well before graduation then head for job hunting right after exam. Result is, 70% of them already secured a job in a month.

2- Optimistic,
they get in touch of the outside world before graduation, and then finnished the exam with a nice vacation right after it. After all, they start to look for jobs, search for good opportunities. they usually takes longer time in job search which is not a bad thing.

Anyhow, wish all of us (jobseekers) will get a desiring career !

纽约回来后，有一种新的感觉和想法
开始有改变的心态存在
渴望一个前瞻性的思维

之前所顾虑的东西，已经降低了许多
迷惘与不确定也已不在
剩下的只有热情(passion) 和一个乐观积极的坚持

虽然有时还是会笨笨的，钝钝(dundun)的。。

回来之后，也发现其实身边的朋友也是到处走
有些飞中国，有些飞香港，有些则到邻近的狮城
出外看看世界的各个角落
其实是一件很美好的事
所以我正打算开往下一站。。
